Offering opulent
accommodation with all the comforts and conveniences of a modern
home, Knysna Heights Villa is a luxurious three-level house
situated on a ridge above the picturesque town of Knysna, South
Africa’s premier holiday destination.
From up here
the view is spectacular – stretching out across the shimmering
waters of the vast Knysna Lagoon all the way to the famous Knysna
Heads and beyond. Knysna Heights Villa takes full advantage
of this panoramic vista with wrap-around glass walls and doors
leading out onto open and covered decks suspended above an
indigenous forest.
The Villa’s
proximity to town makes it very convenient. Its elevated position on
the edge of the ridge ensures privacy and tranquility.

The Villa has three
spacious bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom. All are fitted
with king-size beds but there is the option of single bed conversion
if required.
The elegant
upper level bedroom has a reading corner and a private balcony
overlooking the forest and lagoon. The two beautifully appointed
bedrooms on the lower level are set within the canopy of the forest
with large windows offering close-up views of trees and birdlife.

Living is easy…
Accentuating the
magnificent view, the living areas on the middle floor are all
inter-connected in an open plan layout to create a relaxed, holiday
atmosphere.
The centrally
positioned, ultra modern kitchen is fully equipped with
top-of-the-range appliances including electric oven and hob,
microwave, fridge and dishwasher. On arrival the fridge is stocked
with complimentary wine, beer and soft dinks.

The dining area, with an
eight-seater table, extends into a spacious lounge
leading out through double glass doors onto one of the large decks
surrounding the villa. A second lounge provides yet another
recreational space in which you can relax on plush couches while
watching a DVD or satellite TV on a large plasma screen. A fully
integrated music system is connected throughout the villa.
Stylishly
furnished and decorated, the villa has a warm, welcoming feeling.

Knysna Heights Villa
is operated by Chris and Mark Conyers who own and run Kanonkop Guest
House. The Villa enjoys the same high standards and exceptional
personal service that has made the exclusive 5-star guest house a
favourite destination for discerning travellers.
The Villa is
fully serviced and a full breakfast is prepared and served each
morning at your request. Either Chris or Mark host breakfast and use
the opportunity to offer advice on ‘where to go’ and ‘what to do’ to
make your stay in Knysna truly memorable. They will also make any
necessary arrangements – whether it’s booking a golf game,
organising a picnic lunch, embarking on a sunset cruise or making a
restaurant reservation. Mark has extensive knowledge of the area,
particularly with regard to game safaris, and is always happy to
give advice and help plan your itinerary. Don’t hesitate to ask!
The villa is
also available on a self-catering basis for those who prefer to ‘do
their own thing’. |

Optional extras…
During your stay at Knysna Heights Villa, you can go lagoon
fishing with Mark, a qualified and experienced skipper, aboard our
fully equipped motor boat. Mark will also take you water ski-ing and
wake-boarding and will give tuition if required. Or, if you prefer
something more relaxing, take a sunset cruise aboard our luxury
speed boat and watch the lagoon transform into shimmering molten
liquid under an orange sky. Spellbinding!
You
are also welcome to make use of our double and single canoes to
explore the waterways or, for those who are fit and energetic, we
have two mountain bikes and will gladly transport you to forest
reserves and pick you up afterwards. We’ll even pack a picnic lunch! |

Deposits:
A 50% deposit
of the total cost of the stay is required to secure the booking
Cancellation policy:
The
cancellation policy is as follows:

Less than
7 days prior to arrival, liable for the full cost of the
stay.

From 7 to
14 days prior to arrival, forfeit the full deposit.
-
From 14 to
21 days prior to arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
-
From 21 to
28 days prior to arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
-
Cancellations prior to 28 days to arrival will be refunded
in full, less 5% transaction fees.
-
In the
event of a premature departure, guests may be liable for the
total cost of the stay.
-
Payment of
the deposit implies full acceptance of this policy.
