Out on the water…

A visit to Knysna would be incomplete without spending quality time on the tranquil waters of the lagoon estuary.



As part of the unique personal service offered at Kanonkop, we offer lagoon fishing trips with Mark, who is a qualified and experienced skipper, aboard our fully equipped motor boat. Mark will also take you waterskiing and wake-boarding and will give tuition if required. Or, if you prefer something more relaxing, take a sunset cruise aboard our luxury speed boat and watch the lagoon transform into shimmering molten liquid under an orange sky. Spellbinding!

Guests are also welcome to make use of Kanonkop’s double and single canoes to explore the waterways. We’ll even pack you a picnic lunch!
